Now with the scouter update and chips gone, I've seen a massive grow of the use of the Fighter class for PvP. I was thinking of doing a Swordsman (Fighter too mainstream? xD) but now this situation made me have second thoughts. Should I do the SM or the Fighter and why? And some builds will help also. :) Thanks in advance

i see lots of very powerful swordsman the only thing is they arent as fast as fighters like how they use those needle attacks but besides that i would make a swordsman rather a fighter

TBH from what I've heard, I say either one is fine but if your going for PvP u may need to choose SM cuz they use mostly PvP moves. Since the update, anti crit goes down so Human classes are starting to get a boost. Thats why i say either one. As ronel24 said fighters are very fast so they run a speed build and they have crit armor to make sure you will die fast. SMs also can have moves spammed from their cooldown (besides glare) is so low. Remember I only say from what I see and hear. I do run a SM tho and I have to say its pretty fun ^^. SMs are able to be PvE because of their talent of Critical Hits. Enemies don't have anti crit so thats Y i say so. The build I run is A hybrid ONLY to players without crit rate, and as said before enemies don't have crit rate. I will provide the link soon. For me it is hard to choose cuz I have both a SM and a fighter which but for PvP I do say SM. Sorry for the long paragraph :P. My hybridish build And I did not make the build.

SM is mainly for PvP, Fighter PvE and PvP because it has the ability to tank unlike SM which dies in 5 sec when aggroing 10 mobs.

Sometimes an epic SM its beter, but to have an epic SM you have to gear him up pretty good. So SM can be very good if they have a highly expesive gear, and that isnt easy to get. a fighter can be better for less money. a fighter whit quest items and dodge pot can get 4,5 k dodge (ithinck ) and thats its a good advantage. i would go for fighter atm

I decided to take the leap and use Swordsman since there are a lot of fighters and the words of ODST kept ringing in my mind:

It really ticks me off when everyone switches to whats OP in early days of dbo people stopped their swords dead to bum the OP SK... ...just play something you like and make it OP.

So, I was planning to use this build but I don't know much about SM. Any suggestions, advices and equip suggestions will be appreciated:

What would all fighter class do when the dodge pot gets removed from the game ??? Oh let me answar that
they will start to trade the fighter for a SM or make a SM and if i bett most of the ppl some has fighter class made them fighter strong will die easyier then Sm when the dodge pot is gone hahahahaha so

I Pefer SM they have more chance to defeat all classes + they are more fun then fighter + They dont cheat with to have more dodge lol and for me i can say SM are the OP Class for now since the chips are gone and fighter has less crit chance then SM its make more sense SM can defeat all classes and stuff ^^

(But dont listen to me i just say random stuff lol)

Hey ODST, can you check my thread please? it would be awesome to get an opinion by someone who knows the game: http://www.dbocom.com/forum/showthread.php?t=34318

I'm glad you asked me

Fighter if you want to critaholic

Fighters have STR/DEX passive that means they're attack should be on par with a Swordsman but also it increase crit rate almost as much as the Swordsman 17 crit passive

Fighter skills now do more damage when a crit is successful (not all attacks but they which ones) and RP isn't needed like Swordsman who need to use their KD spam (which you cant crit when you do)

Fighter dodge pot also helps when fighting other critaholics because it gives you a better chance to survive if you dodge it

IMHO choose a fighter and stack lots of DEX as well as high crit it will increase your dodge + dodge pot = dodge x 300%
