This may interest some of you. This was just posted on the Official NTL Japan DBO page today :

<中国サービス>中国サービスの運営会社が盛大遊戯有限公司(SHANDA GAMES)に決定!!

Translation :

<China Service> The Chinese service has been determined to be managed by Shanda Games.

Although I'm pretty sure I've heard that the Chinese version will fall under Shanda Games before, it's interesting that they put a link to the Shanda Games website on the NTL Japan page today.

Even still, the majority of the players on this forum (who mind you are probably a majority of the current english players in dbo) I doubt would all switch to another server where you have to completely start over with nothing, I mean I for one am such a person. Changing from one foreign language to another is pointless... it's still the same game, and even if the Japanese/Chinese community are more friendly towards English people, you can still easily get groups for tmq and whatnot with Koreans, though (not being racial here) the majority of them seem to be douchebags towards us, but that's the same in any game, there will always be douchebags.

The only opportunities that new servers really create is the chance to start fresh with everyone else, which can be good, but enh, for what it's worth I personally won't be changing, even though I love the Japanese. :P

also, I realize that yes there will be more English players in general due to ease of access to the game without having to go through all the KSSN bull, but yeah... Korea ftw for now until English release.

I totally respect your decision man, I am going to do my part to help in my server when new foreigners comes to my server. Enjoy your time at the Korean server until international release, and same goes for all.

I will probably remake an account on the Chinese server because the English speaking population will be a lot bigger. Why you ask? Well, in order to obtain a Korean account, you have to go through a pretty annoying process, and there are lots of people who can't play because of it.

All of these people will be able to play the Chinese version. I would imagine the English speaking population will be at least triple the size if not more.

So to play Chinese ore Japanese version of DBO, we will be able to make an account and play without all the ''you need this and that'' ''You need a cellphone'' ''You need a korean'' ''You need money'' etc.?
Btw, how many people play this game right now?
