i just found this video taken from 'Gintama' absolutely hilarious oh and Gintama is hands down the funniest anime i have ever watched.

Gintama does a lot of Dragon Ball parodies. There was another they did of the opening "Cha-La Head-Cha-La" on their 100th episode. One particular episode, I believe 117, spent the entire time parodying Dragon Ball.

Gintama is simply an awesome anime and manga lol

It's certainly one of the most intersting gag manga/anime I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. Fuedal Japan with aliens? Awesome. I've only seen an episode or two on an anime channel while I was on vacation, but I've got to see, I loved every minute of it. I'll probably pick up the manga once I catch up with One Piece.

I have no idea what Gintama is, but I did notice the dragon ball z parodies...why was piccolo fat..why were so many people fat....just...why?......but nonetheless I had a laugh on the inside while laughing.(I was eating a popsicle while watching, thus had to hold back any laughs).....yay popsicles!

watch gintama and you will understand lol since they based the gintama characters on who looks like who.

ummm,okay, I might as well try watching it, I am a fan of parodies, so why not...is that all this is or does it have something else to it, originality or is it a big parody of things show?

it has its own backstory and stuff there is just alot of references to other anime such as gin-san practicing a kamehameha in the woods lol

I think i got Gintama somewhere on my harddisk, never got to watching it myself...
From what i read here i'm getting the feeling i should XD I like a good parody/comedy style anime from time to time.
