We have a Dragon Ball AF fan manga that picks up where GT left off. I've only seen one or two pages and so far I like the dialogue and how nice the character designs look, but I want to know what other fans thought of it.

Eh, it doesn't interest me. The main character's a total Mary Sue from what I understand, and the plot makes absolutely no sense. I believe I did an in-depth analysis of why that is once, but I've since lost it. I think it's no different from any other after GT fanfic out there, only this one is in a manga format. It's too Saiyan centric for my tastes, which happen to be taking a lovely vacation on planet Namek at the moment. I feel Multiverse is far more intriguing at the moment, and has a much better plot. In other words, I don't like it, and I have reasons.

So Multiverse makes more sense? I'm a lot more interested in the post Dragon Ball Z time period than the post GT time period which really doesn't even exist.

Well, Multiverse makes sense in context. That's the only situation under which any part of the series makes sense. I think that AF fails in that respect.

Agreed! AF totally makes no sense. I mean the storyline jus seems to be a mash of fanboy characters and new transformations. They quality into which it is drawn is good but that’s where it stops.
Multiverse is a much better plot wise and they have created decent backstory for the characters so you’re not left wondering "wait! When did that happen/ why did that happen".

I want a fan manga like this to try to do a "Goku goes ssj3 for the first time" type thing.Come who wouldn't laugh at this:
"Goku:"This is me as a Super Saiyan, now this is a ascended Super Super Saiyan or you can call it Super Saiyan 2, and I have to go farther beyond my limits."
Stuff starts breaking and everyone is screaming in shock.
Goku:This is what I call a Super Saiyan 3, now I can go beyond beyond my limits to go Super saiyan 4, etc."

I read the first few panels of Dragon Ball Multiverse because I ran out of time. I don't understand the beginning when Broli is fighting in this tournament thing and Freiza is there and stuff..... it seems really confusing.

Wow, it seems that I must do a lot of reading so I can fully under stand why it's so good. Does it correctly fit into the series? No plot holes? Time paradoxes? Horrible original characters?

Well, the story consists of so many universes. And there are no NEW plot holes. Well in one universe you have almost every saiyan or partial saiyan being a fighter of some sorts.
