I had this problem too. Close it and restart it over and over, and eventually it will go super fast and finish in like 1 second. It took me like 10 tries but eventually I got it

It depends on what your settings are. On my laptop, under the settings for "what to do when lid is closed" I have "do nothing" selected

Originally, I just pressed the game start button. I later went back and downloaded one of the 2 on their download page. I don't really think it matters which one you choose
