Being a welcome member of this site means having access to all of the features it provides. Maybe you could explain to me how you've come up with the idea that there should be a line drawn for the Taiwanese at "allowing guilds to be publicly viewable". So far, the only reasoning I've heard behind why such a line should exist has been either: "they don't speak English", or "we don't like them and they don't like us" (where "we" strangely seems to be made up entirely of members of the Uprise guild). Along that same line, I'm also a bit confused as to why merely showing their name here completely invalidates your efforts to "develop a strong community bond where everyone is close".
It has also come to my attention that
the "Taiwanese guild" I believe you're referring to is actually a Foreigner + Taiwanese guild. I've heard from members of your guild that that's what they are, and almost all of the members listed as being a part of the guild here are foreigners.
So does the list of people that I should be ostracizing also include foreigners who associate with the Taiwanese? If it does, then I think a policy like this might be a bit too challenging to enforce. For instance, is it all Taiwanese, or are some okay to be around? And at what point would someone be considered a "foreigner who associates with the Taiwanese"? How much evidence is necessary before an action is taken? For example: Should I be banning people who were caught by screenshot, intentionally giving buffs to certain Taiwanese players?
...
In all serious though, I'd like to point out that the way I handle feuds like yours goes both ways evenly. No one gets special treatment from me. When I hear that you or someone from your guild has been acting up in-game, and it escalates to the point that I actually have to hear about it, I do nothing (of course, assuming it stays off the forums). The thought of banning you or removing your guild from the site because you've done some messed up stuff in-game, and pissed people off, never crosses my mind. There was a time long ago when I did do that, and there's a reason why I don't do it anymore.
If this site is a safe-haven from anything, it's one from in-game drama for anyone who wants it. If you or any other members of your guild don't appreciate having a place like that, and would rather try and destroy it, then I'd have no problems if you left.
