I got the same error Nathan. All you have to do is right click the shortcut on your desktop. Then click Open File Location, and it should open a folder. Inside of the folder your should see an application that is named DBO (THIS IS NOT DBOLAUNCHER). Right click this application and click Run as administrator. As soon as you do that, Gameguard should start loading. Do not click on ANYTHING when this is happening. Give it about a minute. When that is done, you should be at the log in screen. Type your user name and password exactly how you typed it in wasabii.com.hk. Then it will take you to your character selection screen and you can begin playing!
