+LP is better than +LP regen. Are you talking about LP regen or Reduce % damage? Reduce % damage is the stat I have next to no idea about.

I have seen this type of gear but haven't really tested it so I can't tell how effective it is.

I can definitely say that +LP and +Constitution equipment is more popular and expensive but that doesn't really mean it's better...
