Most of the story line quests are the ones where you have to go back in time, Time machine quests (TMQs). Every other quest has really nothing to do with the storyline of the game as 3Dimitri said.
This game is about just lvling up and getting skills, then using them on mobs and other players. Well unless you understand what the characters are saying thats a different story.
Just skip those quests with nothing really informed to do on the map. It will NOT affect storyline, usually they dont even have to do with it. The main story line quests are the timeline quests. Other wise other things like tmqs
