I dont understand how to collect the dragonballs are they given to you in quest, like the first one i got. Or do i have to find them ramdomly. Any help would be great

Those are tier 1 dragonballs , we got 3 tiers total , tier two are dropped from mobs , tier 3 from scramble , once u finish the dragonball quests and get all 7 tier 1 dragonballs , u can summon the dragon at an altar , and ul get a capsule , containing a poppo zeni item (sell that to any npc for 10k zeni if i remember correctly) a dragonball scouter chip , and a rare lvl 20 set , now for the tier 2 , soemtimes in game u should see a dragonball icon in the bottom right part of the screen , that means the dragonball event is on , during that , when mobs are killed there is a chance for them to respawn with a chance to drop dragonballs (u will see them as a tiny dragonball on ur radar if u have the dragonball chip equipped in ur scouter) kill dragonball mobs and u might get them.

first, u have quest that give u dragonball tier 1 and if u wish them u will get armor, db chip, and item which can be sell on npc.
second, find them randomly it will be dragonball tier 2.
third, join db scramble event..dragonball tier 3.
