I think you are refering too when Wasabii first started giving out free stuff, the were un-binded.

Actually I got an unbound u55 a couple months ago from webdepot. However that was on a full account, full accounts tend to get better junk from webdepot

its a pretty safe assumption to say that, if you bought it-with real money- it doesnt bind.
free things that you dont have to work for, just log in for, do bind.
i do however remember wasabii, the first batch of white U55's that they released, were not binded- but people were selling them instead of using them, and shortly thereafter, wasabii made them bind.

i sold two u55 white stones NOT BINDED i got from web depot time ago...and i never bought anything in the game with real cash...all the other u55 i have are binded tho.

I got two u55 stones and 10 speed pots UNBIND in like 30 different accs.
I guess Im lucky
btw I don't know for how long they had been sitting in the web depot, but I recently withdraw them.
