I was thinking more of a graphics upgrade. I wouldn't want them to change anything else...

I'm up for them modernizing the gameplay, like the Pokemon sequels do. They also add additional content to those, though, and some of the games have helped to flesh out the characters with the minor differences between the various games. I think they're good examples of how to do a remake of a game. It should be a little more than just the same thing with better graphics if you ask me.

Full-fledged 3D model A Link to the Past with graphics of the Zelda Wii U tech demo from E3 2011.

Super Metroid in 3D models like the Metroid Prime trilogy (not necessarily FPM (First Person Metroid), but it can stay side-scroller with Metroid Prime-like graphics and have full 3D models.

Those two games are the epitome of badass and could be even more so if the remakes were done right.

I'm salivating at the mere thought of that...

It worked well with pokemon but Nintendo isnt trying to appease nostalgia of older gamers. They are just trying to develop another game cheep working off an old blueprint. This is fine since the majority of pokemons fans tend to be younger and did not play the original blue and red.

While with a final fantasy 7 remake you would need to appease the nostalgia crowd other wise there will be such a critical feedback that the game will fail.

I suspect this is the main reason squareenix has put off a very requested remake. As its near impossible to not disappoint with a classic remake

I'd like to see The Destiny of Zorro redone. Nintendo really dropped the ball here, it's Zorro, it could've been great!

3rd generation Pokemon remade with more double battles, day/night and new graphics.

The DBZ LoG series remade, higher difficulty, better combat system and online VS battles :D

Agreed! the trilogy was pretty damn good. gave you quiet a lot of freedom and side story. Bit's true the difficulty did get lower and lower after every version.

They did get it right on DS. Attack of the saiyans was almost as good the Nes versions. But they screwed that up by discontinuing them...

I wouldn't mind seeing a ps3 or xbox version of that.

I would like to see kingdom hearts 1 and 2 remade when square enix finally decide to announce kingdom hearts 3. Another game I would like to see remade is Tales of symphonia as it was one of my favourite tales of games ever made.

I was glad to see games like DMC 1,2 and 3 remade and FF X remastered. They look fantastic and I cannot wait for them to come out here.

Theres probably more games I would want but they seem to have slipped my mind for now.
