By default, the chatroom will appear on the right side of the screen. If you would prefer that it appear elsewhere, you can modify both where it appears and how big it is in the User Control Panel (settings are at the bottom).

If you want to participate in the chatroom without being on the site, you can do that aswell through an IRC client (such as mIRC). The network we're located on is "irc.lightirc.com", and the channel is "#DBOCOM".
