Ok i have already witnessed many of these incidents and i believe DBO players are ******ed.
Guys, don't forget it's a game, the others will do everything they can to be better than you,it happens with all games, deal with it,and don't deny it if you had the chance you would steal even your brothers account.(simple example). As of the hacking thingy that you propably have invented these days. It's literally wrong, you misunderstand the meaning of the word 'hack'.Hack someone means using malicious software to steal in game account information of items.Being an admin in some MMO's provided me with the experience i need to have an opinion. I've have been devoting my time to these things for over 7 years and after going through DBO i have already concluded to something.I wanna make this clear. The two only ways you can loose your account/items is Keylogger(Hack) and Account Sharing(Scam).
Account sharing is by far the worst thing you could do to yourself. It's like saying 'Here is my account, take it,change pass, take items do whatever you want'.Personally i wouldn't share my account even with my best friend. And secondly,Keylogger.Keylogger is a program that allows you to see what the victim you have sent the file to types as long as the file you sent him is open. For example i type:
www.myxxx.com and he immediatly sees it.So thats a very easy way to steal accounts.Just to make sure nobody else gets hacked by that way there are 2 ways of shielding yourself from this kind of program.
1st:Never download and run any small sized .exe file because that propably is a keylogger, and if that is dbo related,it's surely a keylogger.
2nd:In case you have already downloaded and ran the .exe you can check if you have a keylogger here:Task Manager>Second Tab>Locate winlogon>If you have 2 winlogons im sorry but you have keylogger.
My point is that it's your fault that you get hacked and if i wanted my account never to get hacked i would follow Skedar's advice with no doubt nor hesitation.

Seing a friend's account get hacked makes me sad,so much effort for nothing, even though for a game.
I made this thread just to prevent DBO players from fooling themselves and falling to the trap called Account sharing.Scaming people may get you stronger, but it cuts you off from community.I really appreciate you read so far and i hope i helped in the best way.

Excately :)Though One thing you forget, Keylogger or RAT can be made undetectable so it won't show in task manager.

Anyway great advice this is what i been trying to tell people.Alot of people just don't want to admit that there mistake cause them to lose there account.

Well now that i think about it,ive checked on a taiwan site for DBO items, found a stick +12 TMQ 7 for 1350 USD.But cashers on DBO know how to protect themselves. And thats a good thing, non cashers should do that too,ive watched many of my friends get hacked/scammed.It's just not right.

I read all about this incident and I'm really glad i didn't move to TW when it came out. I'm also really glad I staid away from English Community which is bunch of guys who don't know how to play properly (excludiing some small cases). From my experience I know this, Dragon Ball attracts young immature people around 12-20+ years old. People at that age can be unstable and they can often act as kids especially when they lose to someone or simply if they get insulted. And sometime they treat game too lightly or too seriously... Koreans are so much nicer, respectfull & mature (25-40 yeears old) opposite to kids with big ego on TW. I know I've been generalizing right know and this doesn't apply to everyone but I'm speaking about majority. I read these topics and all I see is problems & dramas...

Also security here on KR is so tight that is basically impossible to "hack" someone's account. Here KSSN is key to everything. You need KSSN to change password, use cashshop & managing your account. So sharing account is perfectly safe here as long the other person don't know your KSSN. Yes people lost accounts here too but only because they lost/share KSSN to someone. Only problem that people don't keep their KSSN much but that's theor own fault. Alot of times people lost it on Hardrive crash, or some cleaning, but if they didn't protected it enough that's their own problem....

Other than that you are perfectly safe. Even if you lost KSSN you can still use account as long you don't share login & data to anyone. There is no cheats, hacks, scamers (there are zenny scamers but that's whole different story) or bots... Because we running launcher fom Website using bots is impossible. We just play peacefully.

I mean if people are stupid enough to share accounts or data that's their own fault if they get hacked... I've been playing 3 years and I didn't encountered any hacks, ban or some other ****. Point is if you play the way you supposed to and you are carefull (I mean NOT stupid) then you safe. Otherwise you exposing yourself to risk and **** like this may happen.

All though you are indeed correct I would like to point out one thing. TW (not sure about HK) has the option to create a master password. this password is only used when chaging account details cash shop and stuff of that nature. It works much the same way as KSSN for KR.

Only different is you need to set up the master password which most people don't so when they get scammed they lose their account due to not setting a master password.

The Taiwanese are also mature, mostly between 25 ~ 40 years ... this kind of thing does not happen in the Taiwanese community or korean community with frequency, only in America!
TW is also safe, in 99% of cases the hacked people is hacked by they own "friends", so compare the safety of the two servers is useless, since in most cases are own friends who steal the accounts of those who say "hacked".

Jarek you basically said that the korean release is better than the TW server 2 release because the american community moved to TW.

And I dont know how disagree.
