Guys, did you ignore kagoto's post? The problem with signing up for KR dbo wasn't KSSN. You can generate a KSSN online and people also have lists of hundreds of them (including me). The problem was, you need a phone number from KR. (Yes it's different and it has to be a KR phone number) You use this for verification. So not only do you need one, you need one you can use to verify the account.


So in summary, it's still as hard to make an account without a KSSN as it is with one.


I was thinking that too. KSSN is what tracks our age, without it, we should be able to set our ages above 18. (Adult accounts are no longer 16+, they are now 18+).

Well to work your way around that, you simply have to have a KR sim card installed on your phone.( registers a maximum of 3 accounts per phone) It's easy to obtain the KR number itself, just use something called tollforward, you may google that.

Assuming they'd no longer require any KSSN entries, very doubtful that they'd still require verifications of any sort if this were to be applied. This is great news for me, means that tons of KRMMOs will be open to the public in the distant future.

I think they still might. They got rid of KSSN due to people stealing others KSSN. (pretty much thanks to us) A phone number though, you can't just generate and verify. At the least, you would still need a Korean sim card. I can guarantee Netmarble still wants to this be a KR only game. They might be getting rid of a KSSN because they're forced to. However they're not forced to get rid of the phone number. I'm pretty sure they're gonna keep it.

mmm ye indeed is still hard to get a KR acc anyways HK is the same as KR without this hard process of acc making so... I'll stick to HK :P

Dont worry about that,phone activation is a big barrier,but if KSSN go out I will be playing KR since no more age restriction!

i asked some korean friends of me about that
and they never heard of it
