Common sense people we are all born with it. The trick is using it. (which is not so hard)

The site doesn't support scamming -- we're just trying to keep the drama to a minimum, and it's easier to just delete threads as opposed to calling people out and creating a ruckus. We've have way too many problems with guilds getting rowdy and we don't want another cause of fuss.

And thats fine, no one is forcing you to stay here or use this site. I think Citrinate runs this site perfectly, sometimes people really need to be more grateful for the work he puts into this site. I think people forget that if it was not for him that most of us would not even be playing this game, or at the very least have the opportunity to play this game.

Please scamming occurs in every MMO, not just DBO. You can't blame the community for actions of other people. Just because there is one rotten apple in the bunch does that make the whole tree bad? You just need to play smart. Not to mention that there is always 2 sides to the story. What if a user came on this site claiming that someone "scammed them" and it turned out they never did? I've seen that happen plenty of times too. The point of the whole matter is I don't want people thinking that DBOcom is meant to play the role of "DBO police". That is wasabiis responsibility. Instead of blaming the community or the way the site is run then you should be pointing your finger at wasabii for the way they run the game.

I think all he wants is a blacklist of everyone who has to be proven a scammer with clear evidence.
And he seems to think dbocom.com protects those scammers, by not allowing anyone to make such a list because their ingame name (of the scammer) would be revealed on this website.

So he is kind off right.

Personally I dont have a problem with this but then we would need to know who are actually scamming and who are just trying to cause problems. Main problem with this is that most of the mods no longer play so we cant exactly be sure who is a scammer and who isnt.

Although when a scam thread is posted with plenty off proof. We usually let it stay unless its leading to more flaming then helping as then its just a headach.

Either way i have always told people this when it comes to scammers and making lists. "Use the guild forums" Nothing is stopping you from listing names in your guild forums. I mean in all honesty all the server 2 guilds dont get along. why do you even want scam information from each other when youre all convinced the other guilds a scammer?

Well... Most of the best scammers are from 1 guild. And one from our main moderators is from that guild. So he is just protecting them...

Its more a case if citrinate made a "global blacklist" for all of us to see the "scammers" then whose to say the so called scammer won't make a new character and start on that? The whole point is it is not our job to play DBO police as I said earlier. The reality is we cannot do anything about people scamming, making a black list will not solve any problems as chances are the scammers probably use this site.

As you said though jax guilds are welcome to post anything in their forums. If you care about your friends and your guild, then post a thread in that. I will even sticky a guide to help spread awareness.

Considering how I deleted the original post and am in no dbo guild. Who am I protecting?
