I'd like your lang0.pak file after it has been patched.

I've added a list of changes to the English Patch page, along with links to download older versions of the patch.

The problem isn't with you then. Historically, the English Patch hasn't always worked with the HK version while at the same time it has for the TW and KR versions. I never actually figured out why, and the problem eventually fixed itself.

That problem appears to be back, however there is an alternate solution.

What you'll need to do is extract the all of the Language Patcher files to the "DBO_CT_HK/pack" folder. Then run the patcher as you normally would. After that, you need to go to the "DBO_CT_HK/localize/HONGKONG/pack" folder and delete the lang0.pak file there.

The only difference I'm aware of by doing it this way is that some of your text might be in Korean instead of Chinese. However, because anyone using the English Patch probably doesn't understand either languages, it shouldn't be that big of a deal.

When i do this it says "could not output file" and "patching failed"

After that, you need to go to the "DBO_CT_HK/localize/HONGKONG/pack" folder and delete the lang0.pak file there.

If I ignore the error and proceed to delete the lang0.pak file all the chinese characters turn into squares.

To avoid getting the error, I also tried to extract it to the "DBO_CT_HK/localize/HONGKONG/pack", run it, and delete the lang0.pak file, but when i log in it still displays squares.

Information on how to handle errors can be found here: http://www.dbocom.com/tools/english-patch/

Alright I got it working after I made the lang0.pak file readable in the "DBO_CT_HK/pack" folder.

Thanks for the help Citrinate I appreciate it.

Update: I have noticed just a few instances where squares will display. I am going to upload some images to show you.

As I said, some parts of the game might be in Korean. The squares represent Korean text, and the reason they're squares is because you don't have Korean language support for your computer. If you want to fix it, you might be able to find answers by searching the forums:
