OK so im gonna have one last say on FUNi or Jap. Hate me if you want. People are saying it isn't true that more people know the FUNi names because they grew up with there own translations. I wasn't saying that people wont know there own names for things but even people that speak spanish and french and Portuguese while there used to there own translations they still know the FUNi terms. Why? because the majority of the fan-base of DragonBall are not die-hard fans that read the manga. Most players are used to seeing the average American or English guy use the FUNi terms.
While i agree some translations may be incorrect, it shouldn't matter. We are trying to appeal to the wider audience and to people who speak English as there second language. Also people saying they want the original terms but in english isn't possible. The original terms are in romanized Japanese. Which is still Japanese not English. My main point i suppose is that i think the FUNi terms will reach a wider audience. The poll was rigged and some people are being massive jerks towards the people who wan the original terms. For them I apologize. But still. Cit has spoken. And im pretty damn sure that someone will do an original term version if there is that much of a want for one on this site.
Now im off to translate some more instead of arguing.
Eh, it just means I can't translate any more since I'd have to type in every proper name in google and see if Funi had messed it up, since I didn't watch the dub. Doubles the work.
How does that double the work? There are like 20 names max that are different. Load up the DB wiki and there is a move list. Besides how can you not know the dub terms? There universally used. Have you not played any other dragon ball game? You must of heard of moves like final flash spirit bomb and such.
EDIT: Also it doesn't stop you translating. Translate item names and effects then instead. We need more people doing them anyway.
If this is a ENGLISH PATCH, use the name's of the ENGLISH TELEVISION SERIE.. why using "Kuririn" instead Krillin , everybody in North America, South America and Europe... Knows is KRILLIN , we grow up with the name KRILLIN... why using Kuririn, why so otaku ?? Stop it!.
