I think most people have realized this is gonna take a significant amount of time. Now what im wandering is, now you have said that, will the patch be released at certain points. I.e when not everything has been fully translated. Maybe just the item and move descriptions or whatever. Obviously this will have to be after the patcher itself is finished and the translations are done.

If we can give a deadline of this translation until may then our fans know that we can release not the 100% but a beta.
So i suggest we can release our english patch (beta) on 5 may.
Is that a good suggestion?

who can translated 130.000 texts, of all the users on this forum, properly...???. don't to much talk. just wait until Cit announce the patch is ready to use.

Stop asking. It'll be ready when it's ready. It'll be tested before it's ready to be tested/used by everyone else.

The translations are stored in a simple text file that the Language Patcher reads. Anyone can change that text file, and I can release updated versions of it file whenever I want.

The users who are providing translations are determining what gets translated and how fast. Ideally though, I'd like to release updates once a week. At the current rate of submissions, that would mean 1,000 - 1,500 new translations a week.

Well as long as you don't get trolled and have them tell you DBO english is coming out before you release patch making all that hard work in vein

If an English version is released, you'll be able to pull all of the translations from it and use them on any of the other versions to get a true 100% English Patch.
