You probably just don't have Java installed, or a recent version of it at least.

i got the latest java platform installed, but it doesnt work for me either

it tries to load chat with a nice java loading picture, then i get the message:

unfortunately i cant read the rest as i cant select/scroll in the window it dissapears in the frame border
