Hello DBOCOM!
As most of us know that when we have attained level 70 in the game you want to go kill people at the arena and go on a UD run such as Kraken, Cell-X and Bacterian. In the history of Guilds I have been in playing DBO, I can honestly tell when a Guild is good or not. It is not a popularity factor, but in terms
who is playing and
what classes are in your guild. Unless of course your guild became popular for PvP and PvE, but this guide was made to help those who started a guild, or improve theirs. In this guide I will talk about the CC dungeon, the three major end-game UDs and the minimum needed to make your guild #1.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Part 1~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Our Cell-X/ Bacterian Team
Karma/ Karma/ Crane/ Dende/ Poko
This is a run I did with a Korean guild and we literally cleared the dungeons in a matter of seconds to a minute or two.
I'd say that any ranged fighting Spiritualist-type class is the best way to go for Cell-X because since he is far away and someone can just use Slow, plus the AS buffs and gear, Cell-X went down for us in 10 seconds.
Our Cell-X team the second time around:
Karma/ SK/ Crane/ Dende/ Poko
After I did several runs with my Karma, I switched over to my Shadow Knight and we did several runs each under or a little over a minute. Easily successful team as well, since the Dende disconnected during three of the runs and we still beat Cell-X without him.
Bacterian Team
For Bacterian on the other hand, you guys have been to Bacterian before so you know that he spawns within a few meters in front of you. We used the same team from Cell-X to beat him in a matter of seconds but since most of the fighting is up close and in front of you, it doesn't matter if you have ranged fighting skills or not.
This is my proposed Bacterian team:
Dende/ Poko/ Karma/ Fighter [if they have thunder they can totally rape]/ and SK for bleeding damage and debuff to lower defense by 559 each
You can also substitute Fighter and SK for Turtle since it can help clear through those catfish mobs in the beginning and those fly mobs while fighting Bacterian. If you have AS gear, AS buffs and a decent auto-attack range it should't be a problem since 1 on 1 is easy for Fighters and SK's. Not to mention a 4 second CD Bold Strike almost spammable. I literally had three Bold Strike debuffs on Bacterian. Swordsman could fill for Fighter too since they can Crit high, or if they have AS that's works even better.
Kraken
Honestly I can say Kraken is the hardest of all three from what I have heard from literally every Korean Guild. The only time I've been to Kraken was with my friend soloing it with that immortality bug. I saw like 7 poison debuffs on him though when he was fighting so it is crucial to have a good Dende, and a Dende with a good connection speed and ping should be even better.
My Proposed Kraken Team:
Dende/ Poko/ Karma/ Turtle if not Fighter OR Swordsman/ SK
As I said correct me if I'm wrong with this party setup since I've never a real Kraken run. I would say you need the Big 3, plus Turtle or Fighters and Swordsmen you could use them since they can dish out a great amount of damage, especially with Super High Speed Needle or Thunder AS or MSS Criticals and AS. You can really substitute the last one with anything, I just put SK since I know I can put out 3 Bold Strikes on one target, stun and lower defense.
In the end you could really gear any class and do a UD.
Now For CC
Before Attack Speed teams became mainstream, the backbone of the
long CC runs were:
SK/ Poko/ Ultimate/ Dende/ Karma
Of course if you are doing less than 20-25 floors any team can work as long as they have a healer.
This team setup may be in the slightest bit outdated. I have done several Cell-X and Bacterian runs with random Koreans and I noticed that if geared properly almost anyone can do anything. One of my old friend's guilds goes on a UD run when there are 5 people online almost immediately if they have a healer. Many people are still partial to this setup, but if you are doing some shorter runs then you could really just make any class part of the team.
Many different combinations for CC are capable of being made. Here's a few I made.
Dende/ Poko/ Karma/ Plasma/ Turtle
Dende/ Poko/ Karma/ Ultimate/ Turtle[If you do a long CC run]
Dende/ Poko/ Karma/ Turtle/ SK[SK can AoE stun, Turtle can Kamehameha]
Once again, if any class is geared CC should be fine. It's the same way people done it since before AS became mainstream. I did CC one time with random people and our party was "Dende, Swordsman, SK, Turtle, Ultimate. We got to floor 70ish until the Healer died and everyone raged.
Korean people raging at each other is funny.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Part 2~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Next I will provide you all with an example guild from Korean DBO. I won't say the name but this is the guild that I did several Cell-X and Bacterian runs with.
Total members: 132
25 Dendes
12 Fighters
17 Plasmas
17 Karmas
5 Cranes
3 Grand Chefs
6 Swordsmans
8 Turtles
16 Ultimates
7 Pokos
2 Shadow Knights
6 Dark Warriors
There are several left over, but they are not master class, most likely Kid Budokai.
As you can tell this is an End-Game Guild, usually 8 people on at least during their prime playing hours, but that's only because they all live in Korea, and as we know we live around the world. I have been trying to focus on improving guilds and to help them by suggesting to add and make more useful end-game classes.
I highlighted the top 6 most numerous classes in their guild. Not to mention at least 8 people online almost at anytime and more so you can do that probability of having a bossing or CC party ready to go.
In the months were I first started playing I thought that if the guild was overpopulated with the same class it wouldn't be beneficial.
I was wrong.
The more classes available to be played, the higher the likelihood of going on a CC/UD run.
I'm not going to sugarcoat this. A ton of guilds have a ton of MA's. Unless you are really STRONG or are making an MA for fun or PvP, you could be leveling an AS team class to 70 to be of use in the end game. I'm not trying to be offensive but with the exception of a few people I would rather help someone that is making a Speed Party class going to be helpful later on such as a Dende than a MA.
I understand that an MA is what most people pick when they first start out, I'll admit my first character was a MA, but I realized I wouldn't be useful to a guild later on so I started over and made an SK because SK's were part of the backbone for a CC and UD run, before it was all AS.
Not to mention if you have a good bossing party available in guild you can get excellent end-game gear so you can be successful at PvP.
I hope this guide helps.
If you thought this was helpful please spare a thanks. Also if there is anything you guys want to add or say don't forget to comment below. I also play on the Korean Server so my experience is aligned to that.
