I bet he wanted to talk about new crafting option which could allow to merge 2 armor parts to get bonus stats. Some MMORPG's have this feature and it is kind a cool. It could be nice addition to DBO though it depends how devs manage to intruduce it, it might turn out unbbalanced,op and crappy.
I Admit aswell it's pretty cool i played Aion and you can fuse armor/wep and when you do, depending on what it is it will glow or some special efx with it. It just basically add extra stats.
