This build is a mix between physical and energy, though its foundation is physical. What I was trying to accomplish was having a ranged attack like Burning Attack to lure mobs in and pick them off with MSS. It's a little messy to be honest, but since my SM is more of a "fun" character (basically just to have fun with) I'm not too worried. This is mainly for PvE with a little "platform PvP" mixed in.

Not to bad man.. in my opinion kaioken is useless in fighters/SM (ssj is good enough) unless u got a healer with u or u wanna spam Autopots and LP/EP recover... If I was to be really picky I'd say take some SP off glaring slash and put some more on Concentration

Honestly I prefer MA E.skills on SM's. BA is just too over range . If you can't kill them ,you're gonna be in a big trouble. Final effort can do a bigger DMG if you can handle 1100 LP cost. Stronger energy barrage can KD mobs in lvl 1 ( which makes it better than BA in my opinion ). And KOK as you know either max or none .

I agree BderX.. Plus final effort is the most pointless attk unless ur high lvl to handle the LP loss and even then why would u waist all that SP... I've seen many energy SM's and they do fine with pve aswell as pvp

For a Hybrid Build One thing has to be the main source of damage

So you can either Hybrid Physical or Hybrid Energy.

If you were to Hybrid Physical this would be the best build i'd think for it to work.

For Gear you'd be looking at Foc 28-34 Gloves

and either Crit Damage for Physical or Crit Damage for Energy depends on which you want the most damage coming out from.
