Yes, making an MMO to single player RPG would be a pain in the ass, but it wouldn't be impossible.

Yar, and the best part is they know the ins and outs which means they can freely create new content for it. If we're going to model our project on something, that is definitely our best bet.

As for licensing, because when you bought the CD's you bought the rights to basically use anything on them, they are able to use a lot of that content that was on the disc, some of which never even made it into the actual game.

Just trying to put some hope out there for people, and to quash the goons saying that this isn't possible for some reason or another.

Stop dreaming everyone this game is getting shut down period don't try to save it cause it isn't possible I believe no one here can get there parents to pay to run servers so just enjoy the game for the last month

Dude, I ALREADY HAVE RUN THEM FOR PLENTY OF GAMES. I am a working adult who would be able to, you know, PAY FOR IT. I have business class internet, hell I could run the server off of the PC I am using right now.

All it would take is a domain and getting a server host. All that stuff is sooo much cheaper to do now in this day and age. You have no idea what you're talking about, please just be quiet lol.
