There are several you need for different situations, Gives me chance to show my gear off.
*Don't think I'll ever get over the shame of only having 33 DEX CC110 boots.
The amount of brown boxes I used on all of this gear is totally ridiculous and unnecessary.
Human:
CC110
Requires 7 runs to CC110 per piece to gain the crafting pieces you need, meaning 21 runs in total to gain enough crafting material(Assuming you succeed all your crafts), plus you need extra runs in order to gain a high enough amount of blue coins in order to craft, and also to buy the recipe. You don't need to level your crafting skill up for this.
Max stat is 34 Dex, Foc, Con etc.
Crafted Armour
Easily attained by leveling up your crafting skill which can be done by farming material and crafting. You need a craft level of 30 to make the lvl 70 gear, however you only have a small chance (I think 20%) of crafting Rare, rest of the time will be excellent. You can't get legendary.
Max stat is 28 Dex, Foc, Con etc.
TMQ7 E.DEF
Can be dropped in TMQ7.
Don't ask me why the English patch translates the description of the TMQ7 E.DEF boots into something unnecessarily long, yet it doesn't translate the description of the Pants or Jacket.
