Hey
I've been thinking about, what if Cit made a system for new ranks, like

100~499 PL = Normal Member, can do the same as now, nothing more nothing less

500~999 PL = Saiyan, can delete his/shes own threads on any subforum

1000~2000 PL = Super saiyan, can move thread to anoter subforum, ( lets say, someone accidently make thread on wrong section )

2000 ~ 5000 PL = Fusioned, Can give warning to user ( with reason of course )

Of course everyone would start from 100 PL, so if you want to be gogeta/vegetto, you need to reach high pL again = help more etc.

Sidenote : The list i made about what decent ranks should do is just an example.

its a good theory i guess but its flawed, people will just spam thanks again , so everyone will have high PLs. also no users need to move threads. and giving warnings to other users is a bad idea as its not their position. I like how you achieve certain "rank" the more your Pl goes up . i think thats a cool idea but just gotta stop people spam thanking even if it comes at a cost of losing your own Pl to thank another user but then no1 would thank. must be some way of doing it

This would give mod powers to people who really shouldn't have it. Bad idea.

those with high powerlevels are the helpful ones. They should have some compensation or authority.

Remember Maluriddle?. She was made a mod solely on the fact of her high powerlevel. She's now perma banned.

There would be no point of having mods anymore.

This.

People who are moderators right now were chosen to be moderators based not simply on their participation on the forum, but their ability to help direct it and keep it in line. There are a number of people with high power levels on the site that aren't moderators for a wide variety of reasons. Giving those abilities to normal members based on a system that can be abused isn't a good idea.

Nah it was because you and her were from KR and they needed representation. Just like SSJ2_Will now TeenGohan became MOD because he represented HK. Which is fine. No problem there.

The Power Level system here is not an accurate reputation system, because your power level cannot decrease from bad behavior. Given enough time, even the biggest douchebag on the forum can get over 9000 as long as he manages to avoid a ban.
