If you want to put forth a solid argument as to why Super Saiyan 2 & 3 should be added, you might want to try elaborating on why it should be added rather than trying to discredit the current opposing argument using conjecture without any backing (which has all been said before by the way).

If I was the developer, I'd add ssj 2 and 3 for the same reason ssj 1 was added, because people wanted it. Not just that, but so it would add lifespan to the MMO. Not only ssj 2 and 3, but more races, transformations, abilities and content. I would have spread out these updates over 10 years or longer so people would keep coming back to the game. DBO is 216 years after DBZ and uses time machines, you can make anything happen.


I don't know what you're talking about, I try to elaborate a lot in my posts. I'm also having discussions with multiple people from earlier in the thread. I'm not trying to discredit arguments when using analogies if that's what you mean.

Guys.....why do you wanna mess up DBO with ssj2-3 and new races???? You guys are talking talking talking, add this and this and this but behind this all is no balance!

You can't say add ssj2-3 and to keep balance give majins and nameks another transformation too....You need a background for those things....SSJ in DBO wasn't just added because ppl "wanted" it...In DBO SSJ's only exist because of a bit of saiyajin blood which is in Humans of DBO. BUT they can't go SSJ cuz the Blood was mixed with Human Blood and between end of DBZ, Goku defeats Boo, Saiyajin Blood almost disapeared from Earth. That's why they added the opinion to Wish for SSJ. Humans have saiyajin blood in their body which is not enough to go SSJ by their own....maybe 85-90% Human Blood and 15-10% saiyajin blood.

Sooo a bit Magic from Shenron gave Humans the ability to Transform. And for me this is more than enough! Just be happy that you had SSJ instead of wishing for more and more shit which ruins the game...

Let's add One Piece stuff into DBO...Monkey D. Ruffy/Luffy would be perfect for dbo...we have kaioken which we can mod to let it look like Gear 2....or add some ninjutsu's... (new race: Shinobi!) or remove pets and add Digimons ....

I already gave 3 options which i'll write here again!!!!

1. -If you want a Online Game with SSJ1-SSJ4584856 try out ZEQ2 Lite...there so many mods....try it out.

2. -Instead of killing DBO with SSJ2-3 , try to transform into one by yourself in RL. Just scream as loud as you can for 5 mins without stoping....or change your hair colour (which brings me to option 3)

3. - About SSJ3: Don't go to a barber and let your Hair grow as long as the hair of a SSJ3 and then shave your eyebrows and look angry....

There you go...choose one!

And now pls, for God's sake, stop trying to get ssj2-3 for DBO....DBO was already perfect....they just made wrong updates....all we gotta do is just give real Balance, the right Updates (No transformations!!!!) aaand more events....

The problem with this is that this isn't just an MMORPG. It's based on a manga, who has a writer, not a game script writer, but an actual story writer. I don't know what kind of person AT is, but most writers want their own shit, and stuff based off their shit like games, to make sense at least within the context of it's own story. I think this would be more prominent since AT was involved with the production of DBO. If AT doesn't like where it's going he can stop production whenever he wants.

You can't just shoehorn shit in like that and release it. It has to have background to it and it has to make sense. Time travel is not a magical explanation for anything you want. Even in the manga the time travel was explained and it made sense.

Look back at my earlier post, I came up with ideas for each race and I'm just a fan. If the developers were given a better budget, there's no doubt in my mind that it would have had more races, classes, and transformations over the years.

A big reason people thought the game was 'unbalanced' was because skill resets costed real money or a lot of in-game money. If it was easier to reset skills then people wouldn't be stuck with a crappy build. It would have made it a lot faster and easier to balances classes.


It doesn't matter, these are all assumptions. It's not known how much saiyan blood it takes to activate different levels of super saiyan. You have to wish to Shenron to activate the other transformations as well. The developers could have made a way for more transformations at a higher level, but they couldn't continue adding more content because NTL didn't have the money. Here's a single human/ saiyan hybrid defeating Nappa, Vegeta, and Bardock at level 54.

If the game got to lvl 100 or higher it wouldn't be that hard to imagine more transformations, like I said, this is 216 years after DBZ with time machines. They could have made a way to add more races, transformations, ect. while staying true to the manga and not going into GT territory.



I'm happy for SSJ, but a big reason DBO saw a drop in players was due to lack of content. I'm just coming up with ideas of how it could have survived for a lot longer, like a decade or longer. And no, I don't think events could have saved the game.


DBO was already destroyed, it lasted 3 years an then they closed the game down in every country that it was available. And Dragon ball heroes is a very successful Dragon ball franchise, I would love the Frieza, Android, pure saiyan races in DBO. It would give us more interesting content that stays true to the manga. I could see a lot of players giving DBO another try if that stuff was added over the years.

Don't dis Dragon Ball heroes, it will have a longer lifespan than DBO.


I wouldn't want it going past SSJ3. The developers wouldn't do that either because like you said, the TMQ's followed the lines of the manga.



DBO is already dead because the lack of good updates caused a big player drop, which was caused by a lack of funding.


I'm coming up with ideas on how they could have brought players back to the game, I don't think "events" would have done that. They would have regained a substanial amount of players if they added news places, races, and classes IMO.

I agree, DBO should be within balance of the manga, but also should bring interesting content updates. They came up with a pretty good back-story for the current game, I believe they would have made good back-story for more races and classes. My time travel example was to just highlight how flexible it could be. I wouldn't want DBO to go into GT or anything like that. And yes AT was a "supervisor" of DBO.

I'm sure they could come up with a good backstory for more races and classes, but that isn't the same as coming up with a backstory for adding transformations when everything we know seems to suggest that these heavily diluted Saiyan Hybrids have already reached the limits of their Saiyan abilities.

And yes, I know AT was a supervisor, it's not like I said AT wrote the story.

These are just assumptions though because we don't know how much saiyan blood it takes to go to the next level of SSJ, you have to wish to unlock the other race's transformations as well.

I would've unlocked 2nd tier transformations/ abilities after beating a TMQ where you see Gohan go SSJ 2 against Cell, or something like that. I'm sure the writers could have come up with something better, especially if it was p2p and/ or released worldwide.
