Hey everyone. Are there any ppl who are still playing Borderlands? I started about two months ago and I loved it! This game is a masterpiece. So I wanted to ask, maybe any of you would like to play in coop? (btw my Borderlands copies are... not legal. yeah, arrghhh pirate). Or maybe someone wants to trade weapons? I'm lvl 26 commando in Borderlands 2 at the moment and a lvl 7 hunter in Borderlands (Mordecai).
And for all those haters who thinks that pirates suck and smth.. chill out. In my country games are like 2x or 3x more expensive than in USA and plus my pc is sh*t, I hardly play Borderlands 2 on 640x480. But still I enjoy it. Maybe I will buy these games on Steam when Christmas sales will come

Just don't tell anyone how to pirate, don't share it and be sure to buy the game when you are in a better financial situation and you're alright in my book.

That said, you aren't in a position to tell people to chill out. Piracy is no different(from a moral standpoint) from walking into GameStop and shoplifting the disk. It's theft. Those "haters" are well founded in their hating.

Anyways, I recommend buying a new PC. It doesn't take much to run both at max settings 1080p. They aren't the most demanding games from the 7th generation.

I pirated borderlands 2 to try it out last year. I tend to try it before I buy it. The first few level I enjoyed but it got very repetitive. Also the difficulty curve scales way to much in the end game forcing you to play multiplayer.

I'm of the opinion that a game should have a solid single player, multiplayer is just bonus in my book. So I strongly dislike when a game tries to focus on their multiplayer functions (pretty much any multiplayer shooter nowadays). It strongly hurts the replay ability. Lets look some older FPS games. Halo2 no longer offers online access, half it's value is just cut from that game now. How many people still play modern warfare 1? Will all these servers still stay up in the new console era?

Borderlands falls into the category as well. They expect you to take the later levels on as a 4 man group and make it a grind fest for anyone who wants to do it solo. That's not enjoyable for me.

Sorry for the mini rant. I uninstalled borderlands so I can't join ya lol

I dunno, I was playing it till the end game and it's not that hard. Just need the right weapons and it's peace of cake.
JakXLT - I just said to chill out because there would come people and start saying that I pirated the game and it's wrong and etc.. Yeah, I heard it a lot. In my country it's not even a crime lol. I won't buy a new PC because I have a console . I'm just playing on PC right now, because my console is , I dunno how you call it, being repaired right now :D

I haven't played that far into borderlands 2. At least Borderlands 1 isn't like that. Firefly Siren OP.

We're in the 8th Generation now. I hope you have a PS3 because Nintendo already shut down online services for the Wii. You can bet your ass Xbox 360 servers will be gone by next summer.

No clue when the PS3 servers will go down. Hell, last I checked you can still find a match for Jak X Combat Racing, which is a PS2 game.

Nope, I have a XBOX 360. And yeah, I bought it not for online play. I don't want to talk about it here because it will get way too off-topic
For me, Borderlands 2 is way better than 1. In the second part there are more weapons, better story and I really like Siren in the Borderlands 2. Dat skill.
Btw I think that Wii was the worst console of that gen.. it's funny, not a lot of games were released on it and I think that it would be a good present for a girl
