I voted for FFVII. It was the first RPG that I ever played. It really opened up my eyes to how enjoyable RPGs were. One of my best friends and I spent countless hours playing the game. It had 3 disks, that was unheard of at the time. I still go back and play it every once in a while.

For me, it had a great cast of characters. The story line was epic. I loved the materia system. It had quite frankly the greatest villain in video game history. Every time I hear his theme it brings back some old memories. The side quests and extras really made it over the top. And on top of all that, you could breed chocobos and race them. I had a stable of Golden Chocobos that I would breed until they were all S class.

Now I feel like going back and playing it right now.
