According to the DB wiki they live ~70-90 years. In the age 801 Goku would be 64 and Vegeta would be 69 so it's possible that they could have been near the point of rapid aging at that time.

As far as I can tell it doesn't say what happened as a result of Goku and Vegeta's fight. It does say that many years later supernova explosions were identified, but it doesn't explicitly say they both died in the fight.

The word that suggests that they were near the end is "임종" which gives me the same meaning of dying in every single translator I've tried.

Yeah DB wiki is a horrible source of misinformation. Don't ever go there again. :P

Also thx for translations. This story completely destroys GT. =)

Well I have to admit these are fascinating implications. As for my thoughts:

1) I don't think Goku or Vegeta are alive right now. Simply because they were at the correct age to be on the downhill slope. That coupled with the fact that Mira is looking for Goku's dna. If he can't find it then he doesn't know where the remains are to extract dna from or it was too degraded when he found said remains or there were no remains. In any of these cases Vegeta and Goku are not around. Finally and most importantly from a game design stand point it makes more sense to save the encounter with the two of them (or the discovery of their final fate) for a later game patch or expansion. Look at World of Warcraft how long did take for their major stars to show up? Varian Wrynn wasn't brought back until the end of the first major expansion (Burning Crusade) Arthas wasn't back until the third (Wrath of the Lich King) and Deathwing is just now making his return (Cataclysm). Now for better or worse all the Mmos follow Warcraft if only because it has made so much money at the genre. If they have proven to netmarble that you make more money by rationing your star players then it makes the most sense to let this be Bardock and Trunks story for now and slowly weave the way to and hint at Goku.

2) The fate of Picciolo and the fall of New Nameck intrigues me to no end. While the idea of seeing the final battle between Goku and Vegeta is thrilling the idea of seeing dende and Picciolo making one last stand as New Nameck falls is more intriguing. Also when the remains of Frieza's army attacked doesn't it make sense that Picciolo and Dende would be the ones directing Earth's defense as it seems they were the only Z warriors left at the time?

3) The dragonballs being "sealed" is that a mistranslation? Or were the dragonballs changed in some way? And why do you need to put the balls in stone pedastal now? Before all you needed to do was gather them to together and say "Come out Shenron etc." why the difference now?

4) The Majin Race History. God help me I want to know all the gory details of this races origins. LOL

If we don't get any more details on this, as soon as I can get a better translation, I can almost promise you a fanfic. ;) Also, I don't think that anything was mentioned about Dende and Piccolo intevening. Because let's face it, do you think Freeza's soldiers would stand a chance against Piccolo? My opinion may be incredibly biased, but I don't.

I'd also bet money they were pumped up by Towa's magic and stuff, because let's face it, warrior-type Namekians are freaking strong. When you look at the raw numbers we're given, they seem around twice as strong as Saiyans on average. And Vegeta was pushing known Saiyan limits with his 18,000 while Nail was walking around casually with 42,000. (He's never mentioned to be a sort of prodigy like Vegeta, just the only "true warrior." Take that as you will, but I'd take it to mean that's just normal.) Freeza's soldiers were beaten easily by the three at one villiage with exception to Dodoria and Zarbon. There's probably a fair bit more of them considering they've been given time to have children and such. Though I wouldn't say there's more than 100~200 warriors at this point. So I'd say Namek's destruction is a combination of the following:

1. Strength in numbers (Freeza/Miira's probably significantly outnumber them)

2. Black Magic Makes You Uber

3. Miira just blew up the planet by himself anyway. He's probably too strong for anyone with a readable battle power to stop.

Oh I know there is no evidence of them being involved in the battle against but it
was well before the fall of Nameck and we know Dende and Piccolo were there for that. I just don't see Picciolo and Dende seeing the remains of the group that nearly hunted thier race down to extinction and NOT taking the chance to reduce them to vapor evilsmile Also didn't Cit or someone say something about the Frieza remnants being "easily defeated"? Oh and I am holding you to that fic fellow Piciolo fan. :)

I don't remember reading or saying that Frieza's remnants were easily defeated, but they might have been. Gohan's book was probably out by then and some of the major characters already had some martial artist schools going so the Humans were probably somewhat prepared.

Also I found a free preview of this guide (the first 32 pages only and nothing really new) here:

트랭크스와 오천이 "기공 검술"의 수행을 시작, 현재의 "검술가"의 원조가 돈다.

Cit this is talking that Goten and Trunks formed the swordman school

Google translated Goten as Five thousand ahahah.

And this one explained how Kuririn and tenshinhan created the turtle and crane schools.

Just throwing this out there, but there are a few problems with them going to Namek. First of all, how fast to spacecraft on Earth travel? About a hundred years ago, they seemed to be around the speed we make them today or less. And even if spaceships on Earth do travel that fast, how would they know the coordinates? Goku had to ask Kaio, and something tells me that's out of the question. (Mostly because Piccolo was a total jerk to him during his visit...) If by some miracle they could travel to Namek, you have to keep in mind that it still takes time get there if you don't have Goku's Shunkan-ido. And I'm pretty sure that this whole mess takes place before Yardrat was destroyed. And then there's the issue of Yardratians probably not being able to sense the ki Namekians have anyway, even if they are around.

Probably they wished from Polunga, that they will teleported to the earth, it's likely they're sensing the danger and collect the Namekian DragonBalls.
Polunga transported them all to earth, this was probably the last wish of Polunga xD

There was something in there mentioned about the dragon balls. However, it's too strangely translated for me to make anything of it. I'll say yeah, they probably did use Porunga for that. As for it being his last wish, I doubt it. They've probably still got that dragon around somewhere, considering when they were all transported to Earth last time, the dragon balls followed. They're probably lying around somewhere.

If you're talking about:

"The only thing one wants. Shall present to mum to Dragonball! "
"Mummy ...? No way .... "

"mum" and "Mummy" there actually means Mira and it sounds almost like it's just saying that he's there for the Dragon Balls. It looks like the Namekian story is continued on page 10 (might say how they got off Namek there), but that page wasn't typed up.
