You all sure using English Patch that Cit posted ? Because in this patch it's clearly translated if it's payment or request. It's writed above number of zenny in message. It's obvious when it says request it's not payment but some guy request it from you.

I got couple of that kind of emails from Koreans but I've returned them all. They think that if we are foreigners that makes us stupid. Hell no...

I don't really understand the scam, but we gotta admit something - Koreans sure came up with a good way to scam us english players, they're pretty smart.

Actually, they did. They're using their own language to scam us all. But, affortunately for everyone, the way to realize when its a scam and when an auction house mail is basically the colour. If you get a purple/pink mail it's coming from an auction. Besides that at the right bottom of the mail, left the ammount of zenni that you're getting (if the mail is purple) there's a red cross right next o the zenni icon. If it's a scam mail, appart from the yellow colour, you'll see a speach bubble right next the zenni icon, meaning you're been requested that ammount of money. The difference is tinny but obvious.

Let me take this picture of yours Lonjin so everyone realizes what I'm talking about. See the speach bubble right next the zenni icon? If you get that you're been requested that ammount of money instead of getting it.

I also changed the text in the English patch (in a version that wasn't a required download) a while ago to make it a bit more clear.

When someone requests Zeni from you it says "Give Zeni"
When someone sends you Zeni it says "Take Zeni"

Just a heads up for this guy, too.

Decided to make the message even more obvious. Released a new version (v1.06.01) that changes the message to "Give Zeni (SCAM)". Also, I don't think that guy is on this site (or if he is I don't know who he is).
