Currently the least active server is winning the server poll, but at the same time the majority of users voted for one of the more active servers. Because of that, I'm holding this poll to get a feel for just how many people actually want to play on the least active server and how people will react if told that the least active server is the one we all should play on. Depending on the outcome of this poll, I might re-create the first poll and have everyone vote again.

Most users who posted in the poll thread with their reason why they chose the least active server stated their reason as being they don't want to pick a server that is going to fill up. While that could be a valid concern for not picking the most active server, it doesn't mean we need to go to the least active server to completely avoid such a scenario. It's very unlikely that both the first and second servers will both become full and even less likely that the first 3 servers will all fill up.

Picking a more active server does come with advantages. While accounts may be easier to create and will lead to more foreigners playing, it can still be beneficial to have the chance to play with the locals if needed. Major concerns would be the wide variety of time zones that English speakers play in and the lack of interest most people seem to have in playing the roles of healers and tanks.

So being in the most active server has his down side and playing in the least active server too.
So that only gives us 1 choice...
And that is to choose a server that's in the middle of those 2, right?

This is just a guess but i would say the people with less experience in DBO or people that arn't good with playing in a different langauge, would vote for the least active server because they dont think that they can communicate with the locals. Whereas people who have played in the korean version would know how to group with them and work together when in need.

We can still have a large english community of people on a server that is quite full of the locals. Also due to the fact that people can easily make an account for the taiwanese version, a lot of begginners have joined.

communicate with koreans was dificult i just paste some phrazes and have hope that they understand me (yeah they understand but if i ask smth in english most of them didnt answer).

The last server will have the less community than other one. Its higher propability that we can have "the english server" between the taiwan one.

But its not good to living in the least populated server because it will not many items in AH to buy and not many players who can buy your stuff.

As long as the English community is very close ill definitely play on the server, in these last Taiwanese tests i only saw Chinese and Spanish people talking :S
