The Open Beta will officially start two weeks from now on January 14th. It seems as if the game will not be made completely playable all at once, but instead new content will be released in parts. There was no mention made yet as to when the open beta will end or when the client will be available for download

There will also be a reliance test on January 9th from 12AM to 4AM (EST). The time range for this test may change in the future. All who participate in this test will get a special item during the open beta for doing so (more information about this will be released later).

Also, although there was no mention made of any age restriction, it should be assumed that there will be one as this game has a rating that prohibits anyone from under the age of 15 to play it.

Lastly, there will be no contest for the open beta. Accounts that are available will be given away to helpful members of the community. If you have an account that is able to play in the open beta please check out this thread.

Guerrilla test is on a Saturday, so participating in that should be no problem. Also glad that they are going to reward the testers with a special item. Bad part is that schools will begin before testing, so I will only get max 5 hours of play time on school days. :/

Hopefully they will let us know how it will end before it begins, I don't want to play this game if our chars will be deleted again... (for some, this would be their third or fourth time having deleted chars)

Nice ;D I'm preparing for this 9th Jan test ;]

See You all in Game ;3

On the other hand open beta starts at thursday so I'm gonna be at work, so I'll be late with beginning of my journey ;<

It's better though, after those 5 days of play I'm not gonna be so hardcore :P

60% of game content is going to be available at the start, with patches they will go to 95%. Some people had problems with patches at 2nd beta, I hope it goes better now.

I got school during the OBT so I wont be able to play that much, I just hope I can play with some other people so I'm not alone :(

I hope to see you all ingame!

Unfortunately from what I have found from previous CBT and OBT, is that characters are not kept over, the only time you will get to keep your character is when the company offer to transfer them to the full release if you pre-order. Shame it is annoying constantly restarting your character, even if you have already boosted one up to about level 30

Got a source saying that the beta will last for 29 days. Not sure how trustworthy it is though.

wow 29 days isn't half bad at all! if I were just able to get my hands onto an account then I'm positively certain I could get to max level. Oh one thing I never thought of asking till now, what does the MMO focus more on, grinding, or doing quests? because that way it would be easier to get to that max level if you were to focus on what gets you levels
