Legion Events
Legion will be hosting events on Saturday, July 23rd, 2011. These events will include prizes and some of them are open to everybody, while others are guild exclusive and only open to guild members. The list of events is below along with their times, locations, description, and prizes. If the event is marked as a guild exclusive event, you are only allowed to participate if you are a Legion member.
Event 1 – Picture Battle- Time: 3:00 A.M. Taiwan (3.00 P.M. EST)
- Location: There is no location for this event
- Prize: Saibaman dogi
- Description: The objective of this event is to take the funniest/coolest picture. You are allowed to be in a team of 3 or less to take the picture. At the specified time, I’ll open a thread on DBOCOM, where people can post pictures and people will have 20 minutes to take their picture and post it. Photoshop is allowed if you wish to use it, however the picture that’s edited has to be from in-game. The judges and I will pick the best picture, and if there’s more than one person in the picture, you will have to fight each other out at the end to decide the winner.
Event 2 – Battle Royale- Time: 3:30 A.M. Taiwan (3:30 P.M. EST)
- Location: We will meet near the platform on channel 5.
- Prize: Choice between regular turtle shell or blue turtle shell
- Description: The objective of this event is to kill everyone else participating in the event and be the last one on the platform alive. Leaving the platform during the fight even for a split-second is counted as disqualification. To begin this fight, I will say “111” in public chat, and once the pop up above my head disappears, you start. After we’re done the 4 rounds, the winners of those rounds will do another battle royale to decide the winner who gets the prize. Anything goes in this event.
Event 3 – Last Man Standing (Guild Exclusive)- Time: 4:00 A.M. Taiwan (4:00 P.M. EST)
- Location: We will meet near the platform on channel 5.
- Prize: Choice between halo or wings.
- Description: Players will all stand on the platform and everyone will roll the virtual dice in-game. The person who gets the highest number on the dice, can use any one attack on the person who gets the lowest number. No healing skills, no potions. We’ll have 4 rounds here, and the winners will do a final last man standing to decide the winner.
Event 4 – Hide And Seek (Guild Exclusive)- Time: 4:30 A.M. Taiwan (4:30 P.M. EST)
- Location: West City
- Prize: Easy Mode: Glasses; Medium Mode: Orange Master Roshi dogi; Hard Mode: Master Roshi dogi + Glasses
- Description: The purpose of this game is to find the hider, which will most likely be me. I’ll have a shop open and whoever gets the dummy item in my inventory will win the prize. Teleporting is not allowed, and if you’re caught teleporting to me, you’ll automatically be disqualified and the event will be restarted even if the person is not playing. I’ll give hints every 10 minutes or so, to make the hiding location easier to find. We’ll pick the mode we want to play before we start the event; note that hard mode means it will be extremely difficult to find me.
We hope to see many players participating in our events, and hope that you will enjoy them. If this works out well, we will have more events in the future.
