tmq crystal quest

im lvl 40 and i finally have a team to make the tmq, but the quest 2 get the cristal doesnt fill, why is that? it says to me 0/30 all the time now :S

You have to kill ennemies at least green for you (-3 or -4 lvl than you). If you kill grey ennemies, it won't fill.

what is the effect on the crystals? i have 2 and i dont know what to do with them.
