this game is far from perfect, here's a list of stuff that needs to happen to this game imo.

1. More quests after you hit mid 30's/early 40's: There is a difference between a good grind in a game and a plain ******ed leveling system. DBO has just a plain ******ed system. Having to purchase repeat quests and do them for like 6+ levels sometimes is just plain terrible design, I don't care how you look at it. They need to add more quests, or make it so you can do at least 3-4 repeats at once, for free. You need in game money to spend on stones/gear/other items to help progress, and without using the cash shop, that makes things a pain in the ass.

2. EP not consumed so fast: This is another thing that irritates me. If you play any other MMO now-a-days, your resources are never depleted as fast as this game. The best example to use here would be a mana pool, because thats all EP really is in this game is mana. In rift/wow/aion, you can kill a ton of mobs before you have to sit and drink/regen your mana. In dbo, you kill what, 2 mobs maybe and you are dry.

3. Make the pvp more balanced: Stuns are fun thing to have on your character, but they need to shorten them in pvp. They should also add diminishing returns to these abilities so you can't spam them so much in group pvp.

4. Give healers something more: Healers in this game are dull to level, and if you want to solo, you HAVE to go a dps spec. I don't believe anyone has the patience nor the sanity to level a healer as they currently are from 1-55 with just the few moves they get to level with, without sacrificing their healing to do well. Unless you have a friend to level with, or want to spend real life money when you hit 55, you have no other option.

5. Leveling system: Just another point on leveling, they need to decrease the amount of XP per level needed if they want to keep the repeat quest crap the way it is.

Every time I play dbo again, I log in and just get bored before even starting my first repeat quest. I don't see how the ones who hit 55 stomach this game the way it is. It is fun for a bit, but it gets so old fast. To my knowledge most of the guys here who hit 55 is that this is their first MMO and have also not really played the P2P mmo's. I have played wow, rift(level 30 and still going), and 50 in Aion (before they made it easier to level in this game). Now Aion was a lot like DBO currently is, but still had more quests to do to progress without having to grind that much. Towards the end of your leveling grind though it was a bit worse then DBO. No quests = sucked.

just my 2 cents on what needs to happen to make this game a success instead of flopping. They also need to pick up the pace in the creation. I was gone for what? like 6 months+ and not a single thing changed in this game that had a major impact. I think they removed rock, paper, scissors from MA, but thats about it lol.

What would make the game better than all of that combined is a high action combat system, more like Vindictus. The main problem with this MMO is that combat is repetitive. This system doesn't live up to the Dragonball name.

I agree 100% with cold, I only got 55 cause its really easy to.

Coldcathode I'm not an expert in MMO but I heard that most asian MMO are about grind & stuff while most western MMO have more quests & such. Game require alot of patience and I'm fine with it. If people get bored that's their problem. Although I agree that quest system needs improving.

Also you need to realize the fact that primary goal for devs is earniing money from game. If they make getting money too easy for non-buyers (people who don't use cash shop) ppl would stop usin cash sahop altogether. Of course they could add more stuff to keep it goig but still...

BTW why people request more clothes ? Lol we have new dogi all the time, what's more you want ? If you parcipate in event you can get some of them free. Rest is just expensive but that's how it should be. I don't see a need for more clothes

Although ability to change hair & stuff would be nice. Changing face Etc would be just stupid. Plastic surgery in DBO ? Come on... People need just be carefull when they make new character that's all.

Things I would like to see in future would be stuff like destroyable ground, beam colisions, Projectile/beam repeling and ability of using skills during walk....

that point is true with most asian mmo's I am just saying what they need to do to make this game a success and wanted in other areas of the world. I understand their money making with the cash shop, but if you have to spend in game money to level up, well that is just plain stupid. They would still make plenty of money from the cash shop if they made repeats free. Most people still buy the bikes and fuel from the cash shop, that alone is their big money maker other then the wagu machines.

EDIT: Just to clarify I do not want them to make zeni as easy as wow gold to get, but give players a pet to farm for (without it being in a claw machine), or SOMETHING they can make some decent in game money off of, other then having to go to the cash shop to make in game money.

But why you assume that each release of game will be the same ? It will be separate clients & updates for each version right ? It means game can be quite different for each region. I'm sure they aware how western MMO's works and if you would follow DBO official site you would know that big changes will be made soon. If all things planned will be implemented, it will change game drastically... Trust me on that.

Reps suppose to cost money you know. If they would be free than ppl get very easy lvl fast. Lvling suppose to be somekind of challenge, not something you can achieve in 2-3 months... Its already happening .. People get lvl fast because of reps and most f them lack good gear, because instead going tmq or smething they prefer get lvl. When they high enough they are easly killable because of that.

True reps are boring bot thats how they are. Making them free wouldn't made them less boring. Personally I think people lack patientce to go through all of it. They get used to much on easy MMO's and give up quickly. They shouldn't blame devs for their laziness. Personally I don't think reps should be changed. They should give players more options of getting exp instead so there will be some variety.

As for money earning you can actually get decent cash in this game but ppl mosrtly are not willing to share their tricks because eventually all people will use this method & prices go down because of that. I personally earned 40kk on selling legendary from tmq and I didn't get these expensive ones yet. It's slow, require patience & effort but it works. There are plenty of ways to get some cash but each of them requres some effort & time. If you play enough you will notice how people earn money. It's not big cash like cash shop buyers do but still enougfh IMO.

Leveling in any game takes patience and time. But the way they force you do it in this game is just plain bad design, set and point. Leveling is part of an MMO, and it shouldn't be boring, it should be enjoyable. It should also not take you 3+ months to reach max level. That again is just plain bad design. I know people want to enjoy the game as long as they can, and leveling is a big part of that. But making leveling easier would make the game just better in general. And about reps costing money to make the game challenging? That is not true, it is just an annoyance. Any other MMO I have tried/played has quests that GIVE you money/items. Also blaming devs for players being lazy? I am sorry, I am not lazy when it comes to playing MMO's. I did my grind back in wow when it was still a challenge at the time. Also did the grind in Aion, and professions in most games are more of a challange then having zeni to spend on reps. Laziness is not a factor in reps, its just that they are a plain terrible design to help people level faster. If anything the devs are being lazy in my opinion for not coming up with more quests for the players to enjoy in their game. That is their job, correct? To make the game enjoyable to play and thus making the players want to play it and buy stuff from the cash shop to make them money?

DBO makes you spend every dime you make pretty much on repeats. I am sure at later levels making money is a bit easier and can be done without the cash shop. But I still stand by my statement on reps. I am sure if this game made it to america they would make drastic changes such as more quests, free reps or something else implemented but I don't see this game going anywhere else to soon and being that big of a success as it stands. I can care less about a new combat system, or prettier looking gear, and all of that over getting the plain basics of allowing people to level without wanting to gouge their eyes out.

Also just to note I did not read ALL of the changes they have coming, so I am not completely up-to-date on what is to come, but if they don't fix leveling first, then I really have no interest in the rest. I could live with them doing reps the way they are for maybe 3 levels max, but having them for 5+ levels is just out of hand. As I said, theres a difference between a good enjoyable leveling grind and a terrible leveling system. That alone is my biggest gripe with this game.

I agree. And you should be able to change your hair because wow lets you. Maybe in the future. Btw does anyone know when they are going to add the gun class? lol

I'm with Coldcathode on his points. While I can generally grind longer than most people, with grind-heavy RPGs as my forte, if I'm playing an MMO, odds are good I don't want to be grinding. What's the difference you ask? Well, most of the RPGs I play are on my DS, which means I can grind while doing something else. Plus, they're generally turn-based. With DBO, I don't have that luxury. Of course, if quests are going to be the big thing, then it certainly wouldn't be as fun without an English release.

but having new quests none the less would make it better rather then killing the same exact area of mobs over and over and over and over and over. some different mob varieties make for different scenery.
