no they do not, you can hit C and click on fame or whatever that section is and see that nothing has been recorded in your losses, however losses that do count in your stats are ranked pvp battles, not regular pvps. if you duel someone it doesnt count, but if you sign up for ranked pvp in the arena those do count.
