my first console, had the mastersystem version of sonic installed already, my first sonic probably why i prefer it to the genesis (even though the mastersystem was before the genesis)

My first official system was a n64 as it was the first system bought for me. But my uncle had lent me a NES and Sega genesis, eventually he just gave them to me but this was after he bought me the n64 for my birthday.
the games back then were simple and fun
now they are hard to figure out and have a short story mode >_>
I can't think of a single new game that has been "hard to figure out" most games now adays pull you along by your nose hairs, I imagine gamedev's assume we all have ADHD and if they leave us alone to long in a room without saying a word we might run off eating our own snot.
I managed just fine in the 90's without a 3 hour unskipable tutorial.
