as long as mod approves it first...i dont know to much about copyright and releasing modified game data files...unfortunately, I'm pretty sure anything with actual data already in the game (i.e. every texture that isnt modified in that pak) is copyright the respective owners

EDIT: LOL you can hear my baby fussin a bit during the tutorial :P

OK,but i think that copyright are stuff with R,TM and C on them so go on and edit free.

*bump* if anyone even reads this garbage :)

added trick to narrow the searching of textures down to the .pak file rather than sifting through the 24+thousand image files :)

SSJ aura is in tex13.pak, I already found the .dds file and am having an artist editing it now.

Kaioken is also in tex13, but I can't find where the .dds file is. Anyone wanna take a look?

Bump - Added new info on finding what .pak an equipment item is in as changing channel does not work with equipment or character skins. Easy work-around thanks to TrunksX2 for bringing this to my attention :)

Yeah it was pissin me off for awhile too but doing the unequip/equip thing works I've tested it on all equips except Dogis but they all should load the same :)

Unfortunately, the only way I know how to hot-load character textures is on the character creation screen which limits you to only finding Child skins and not adult skins, they **SHOULD** be close by in the same pak file or maybe one number ahead/behind the one you find your races child textures in

EDIT - need to spread some rep around b4 thanking you for pointing this out too me, your time will come, promise xD

EDIT 2 - As to DUP missing formats this should not matter (atleast on finding the texture) because it locks the .pak file in whole (not just the ones it finds in search)

Looked through all the files and didn't find the snowsuit dogi. Gonna give it another go-around but dogis with gloves have proven to be different than other dogis before, it may be the case yet again.

Also, dogis seem to all be in tex31.pak and are made from multiple textures, not just one. Will be a lot of work to edit.


EDIT: After looking through 31.pak, I found the dogis with gloves. It seems that changing channels as well as un-equiping does not work for dogis with gloves.

Thought I'd let everyone know that HK has more textures, so the textures in the pak files are pushed forward a few files.

Also, file sizes of tex#.pak can change.
