So I cut and copied the DBO TW folder to a different folder in my hard drive, and my launcher goes back to 0000 and 1.50.0.1 RTP. How do I access the hidden files from where it was before I cut and copied it so that my patch goes back to being updated?

Because you used "cut" maybe? Also, the launcher is a shortcut to a directory. Since you "cut" you've moved the directory into your different hard drive, you don't have to go through great lengths as to putting it to your 2nd hard drive. Just make a 2nd folder and place it somewhere where you'll remember it. Also, make a new shortcut.

ok so whenever i open my launcher i get that thing where it loads the whole thing for new patch... but it does it ever damn time! and then when i press start, i get the question marks with the green bar and then the whole "server remotely closed by host" ****... someone help me!

Get rid of every trace of DBO. Even your registry, that error means the game can't execute, also check your graphics card and graphic's driver.

im not sure how to check my graphic card or driver but i can run other games so it must have just had some kind of bug.

alright i dumped my dbo_ct_tw folder in the garbage... i removed it from utorrent and am re-downloading it. should i even try to go with the eng patch? i know i can play without it.

No. You forgot to go to Programs/Features and uninstall it from there
