Why does this thread keep getting reopened? You mods want us to flame each other so you can give out infractions.
|
| |
|
|
Your all forgetting that it is possible to have a civil talk within the forum EXCEPT You guys do not want to. I do not see the reason why my thread should be close that is not rule-breaking. Cause you don't want to talk in good manners like how things should be discuss on a public forum.
Cause If this is how it works that mean anyone can shut down any thread if they just want to be a jerk by posting flames? ok.

Personally, I don't want to give anyone an infraction. I honestly hate giving out infractions, but they're effectively necessary. As I've mentioned time and time again, our alternative is to simply ban everyone's account for a few weeks as punishment. Infractions are a much simpler way of doing things and they don't punish people as severely as they would be otherwise.
Personally, I'd like to see this thread remain open because it's a legitimate topic up for discussion. Posters, however, keeping going off-topic and starting personal attacks.

This wouldn't be the first time that a moderator has closed a thread before multiple posts have been made because they knew exactly what would happen, but they didn't have multiple other mods over rule them and re open the thread. This thread should of stayed closed.

Then how about this let's have the Owner of the forum decide, Let's have Cit decide. Cause no mod should be over ruling each other cause it will cause conflict.

I wouldn't mind talking to anyone nicely, but when I get told to "cry" for stating my opinion, and a 10yr old make a thread about me just because he doesn't like me, is something which i can't really stand.
Even if I try to be nice, I get shit talked, and theres moderators online, who won't mind ban someone who keep doing it again and again. And I can't seem to understand why.

This is not a legitimate topic. He's just raging because Jocer told members from this site to leave and join the forum for DBOR. Who cares? It's not like any of them have to listen to Jocer. I'm pretty sure he doesn't have a gun up to said persons head saying if you don't leave dbocom and make a dbor account I'll end your life. They can do whatever they want. And isn't Simmy correct when he says Citrinate did the same exact thing when he created dbocom? He stole some members from dbmmo. This topic should be closed. It's only going to keep causing problems.

Well maybe the other thread that you made would of went better if Porunga's Wrath didn't start shit talking Uprise for absolutely no reason. Him posting that shit caused Jocer and other from Uprise including myself to post.

Once valued or not, he is no longer a member of this forum. Additionally, Darkkingom's testimony is pretty much rock solid now. There's no accusation -- the proof is right there in his screenshot. Aside from supposedly "accusing" someone -- who is no longer a member of this community -- of doing something they actually did, he hasn't done anything that could be vaguely be considered rule-breaking.

Plz Kiyza. People can avoid situations like this by not giving out their account info. Additionally they aren't being forced to leave the site. Users still have the power to choose not to leave the site. If the problem darkingdom is presenting is that people are leaving the site then the solution is to create more interesting discussion to entice them to stay. This thread is not the way to go about this.

I think we should leave this thread open on the account that. This thread hasn't created an issue in my eyes but instead the Users who posted were the ones who cause the issues to be created. All I see from this thread is a member of our forum expressing his honest opinion in the boundary of our rules. I see no reason to close it. If you think we should close it. We should discuss it privately.

I disagree as the direction this thread in and all the problems associated with it clearly could've been avoided had the thread been left closed when it was closed. The reopening is a poor moderation decision and I will be taking this issue up privately.

Roli when things like this happened you must be the bigger person and do not let their immaturity cause you to make a reaction.
I trust you would able to talk civilly I talked to you many time before I know you can be a better person.
I thank all the mod for letting me express my opinion. I think we can keep discussing calmly about how we can build the trust of DBOR and DBOCOM the right way. Not underhanded ways.

You know why most of the DBOR team is advertising the new forums? It's because there is no god damn drama there. Everyone has started fresh and it's a great new beginning . People put their differences aside and actually make the forum worth visiting. I really don't see the point of DBOCOM because it was meant for DBO which is now dead.
Even though this site has helped many users in the past.... at the end of the day this forum is full of negativety and we don't need that.
