They also added World Trade, my friend caught all 649 Pokemon in Black with that. But it's your personal opinion with not liking it getting more complicated

The seventh Mega Evolution, Kangaskhan, Upon Mega Evolution, Kangaskhan gets a new ability called Parental Bond that allows it to attack twice in one turn, presumably with the aid of the baby Kangaskhan, who is seen outside of his mother's pouch for the first time in battle:

They should add a Mega Evolution for Marowak and just have it evolve into a Kangaskhan already
the last pokemon game i played was silver edition...when i see this i'm like O.o....that's no pokémon...it's something which is called Pokémon too xDDDD
btw...how many pokémons exist with this new games??? all i knew is on the first games it was 150 and with silver, gold and crystal it went up to 250....and now? 1500? xD
I like it when you we're able to catch all pokemon. In Red version, which i had i tried to catch them all but, ended getting only 135.
Then Silver only gettings 222.
Now what i am suppose to catch 800 of them?
It was nice and simple before they just made it more complicated through the years..Just like every game.
Just my opinion.
I almost have a complete Pokedex on my White Version. For me, all I have to do is transfer those over to the new games and catch the newly introduced Pokemon, so it shouldn't be that bad on my end.
On the other hand, I've also spent many years and years working on said Pokedex. But at the same time, it's not necessary to complete your Pokedex to enjoy the game.

649 as of Gen V. It's not at the 1,000 mark, but there are a lot of Pokemon yes.

And according to the developers it can keep going forever.
Junichi Masuda (Game Freak Director)
“Can we keep designing pokémon forever? Yes, in a way. Because I come to Europe and they have different goats or different cows, and they have very different species that aesthetically look different; they live in different places. And I enjoy that diversity, its fun and it’s important to have that sort of diversity in Pokémon. In Japan there are a multitude of different bugs and things, and these things have always been an inspiration.”
Takao Unno (Game Freak Graphic Designer)
“Influences for the design of pokémon are everywhere. I look at living things but I look at the design of anything and think, ‘Why is that?’ ‘Why is that designed that way?’ And then sometimes I’m thinking about that and maybe an idea is compatible with my line of thinking for a certain pokémon. And that’s how pokémon are designed. Points of inspiration and influence never really stop.”
It kind of makes me wonder if they'll eventually get to the point where some Pokemon are just slightly recolored variants of the others. Not talking about Shinies, just an entirely new Pokemon that looks exactly like an older one aside from one to two colors

I don't think that's something we'll ever have to worry about. That's something that's used when there isn't enough money or time in the budget (or memory on the game card) to have separate models for each enemy. Pokemon has enough financial backing that they hardly have to worry about the former and the amount of memory we can put on a game card, it seems, will only increase. (until we hit limits set by the laws of physics anyway)
