Yes, the only way. They last for an hour. With the yellow ones they give 64 exp every 60 seconds.
Unless you cash that is the only one you can get. Though in AH you could possibly get green or blue ones. Green are more likely.

I'm abit confused about pet skills, i've bought a few pets but none of them have a skill. My first pet when i got at a lower level in the starter town came with a skill. How do i get skills for my new pets? or how do i add skills to my original pet?
