If you have a valid nick, and it still gives you that error there must be a unicod e problem, meaning your computer isn't in korean locale.

Nero, do you know how to fix the font? Most of it is normal Korean but some of it isn't working right. I'm using IE 8 on Windows xp.

You probably don't have a complete language pack.

the language pack section was for the other guy.

For vista korean locale can be found in Control Panel > Clock, Language, and region > Regional and Language options > Administrative > Change System Locale.

For xp you need to download applocale run ie in korean Unicode. I believe it will come up as 한글 in applocale. Unfortunately xp doesn't support korean Unicode by default, so applocale must be used.

That's the only kind of applocale, and where exactly are you getting that error.

It keeps saying that there isn't any language pack installed and that I need the disc for windows service pack 2, but I don't have it.

Check and see if you have anything in your C:\Windows\i386\lang folder or if that folder even exists. If it does then you use the files from there to install the languages instead of the disc.

Edit : Just realized when I put up my own screens I removed how to change your system locale. Re-added that + 2 vital steps that a lot of you seem to be skipping.

I think you're going to need the disc then. Not too sure, I'm not very familiar with all of this font stuff. Just google something like "install east asian languages windows xp no i386" and hopefully you'll find your answer there.
