This is definitely the best overworld theme in my opinion. It's high-paced, very catchy, extremely memorable, and it just fits the Zelda franchise perfectly. This was perhaps the best song out of the entire sound track for Twilight Princess.

This song is not only catchy, but the melody of it is absolutely gorgeous. I found this to be one of the most entertaining pieces of music in any Zelda game and it gives me motive to keep playing the game. It's hard for me to stop listening to this song. This is definitely a close number two. Its beauty is even more accentuated in The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Medley.

This song expresses the Wind Waker world extremely well. It's a very powerful theme for such a great game. The notes in the music carry me along as if they're the waves dragging my boat across the ocean. Being one of my favorite songs in the Zelda series, this is definitely my number three.

This is yet another very powerful song. It sets a perfect theme to an epic story. Link, alone on a mission to save the world, to battle the great Demon King, Ganon! The song is very simple, yet it carries so much energy. I'm short of words to describe this song because it's just simply amazing. Not many people can replicate the atmosphere the original brought to the table. I've heard hundreds of remixes of this song, yet none can seem to capture the magic this song holds. I've only heard Nintendo orchestrations of this song that can do it justice. This is definitely my number four and it's hard to believe it's that far down on my list.

Last, but not least, on my top five list is Ocarina of Time's Hyrule Field theme. This song carries a lot of nostalgia to it. It beautifully paints the perfect picture in my mind of Hyrule Field and my adventures in it. When I listen to this song, I feel as though I'm actually standing in Hyrule Field, feeling the cool breeze, walking in the fresh morning dew-soaked grass, relaxing in the harmony that is the beauty of Hyrule. While this is my number five, it paints a picture of the overworld that none of the other songs can manage to do. It's perfection.
