Hi eveyone, im here to ask you how the **** can i prevent that ******* annoying ''broken'' card, i wasted too much money trying to update my lv60 sword, i spend like 200 millions and it allways finishes breaking.

White stone helps but seems you have much less oportunity to hit a ''sucess'' card with them.

it is pretty annoying to trash a lot of money just to finish with a stupid +4 weapon.

Hope you help me, it will help many others too.

PD: i lost a 28% Crit Sword with 11 Foc so you know how ******* angry am i right now.

PD2: Dont be egoist l0l.

The only save way to upgrade you weapon is to upgrade it to +5 with single step upgrade stones (red) and use one purple stone to reach +8 (if you are lucky). if you even want to go further you HAVE to use white stones to PREVENT your time get broken, it DOES NOT prevent that "broken card" itself.

Btw. It's all about luck. i spent billions of zeni in that upgrade crap to get freaking +10 weapons. In my opinion it is best way to stay with +8

Thanks for the info. i knew that 5red 1purple trick, but 1- purple u60 costs almost 600m and 2 white u60 costs400, and allways i use a purple to upgrade from +5 to +8 i allways get +6.

i ask'd here because i heard that some taiwanese people uses a trick to aboid or prevent the broken card to upgrade they weapons up to +12...

It's 1 ~ 6 for no chance to break on weapons in the Taiwanese version as well. It's 1 ~ 4 on armor.

All it comes down to is luck, really. I tried going beyond the safe limits multiple times, but every time ended in the item breaking. I have very bad luck in MMORPGs, though. XD
