that ring does increase dragon ball drop rate too but thats a +30% of the normal drop rate of the balls, so lets say db drop rate is 5%, that ring will increase the drop rate by 1,66% (30% of 5) so it will raise the drop of the db up to 6,66%. still low and still the only thing that will help u to drop a db is pure luck :)
