Registration for entry into the second closed beta has ended. Good luck to everyone who applied. Beta testers will be announced on November 4th at 2AM EST and the winners of our own beta contest will be notified shortly after that announcement.

I encourage all members who are accepted into the beta to share their experiences with the rest of us through screenshots, videos, guides, or by posting in the Pre-Release forum.

The primarily focus of this second closed beta will be on level 30+ content. Players will start at level 1 and play through the game normally, but when a character reaches level 5 on its first day it'll automatically advance to level 30 the next day. Players that don't achieve level 5 in a single day, but have had their character for more than one day will instantly go to level 30 once they reach level 5. Time periods for when the game will be available on each day can be found here.

Similar to the 2nd beta: we'll also be hosting a contest for entry into the 3rd beta by giving our members 3 ways to win.

Two people will be chosen at random from the list of those who are subscribed to our YouTube and Twitter accounts (one from each site). To be eligible you'll need to either subscribe to our YouTube channel and/or follow us on Twitter. Twitter users will also be required to retweet this message (just click the link and hit "update"). Lastly, you'll need an account on our forums. If your YouTube or Twitter account names are different from your account name here please post them in this thread. Winners will be contacted through the forums.

Along with the YouTube and Twitter winners will be some of the valued members from our forums. Forum users who are active and helpful posters will be chosen to play in the 3rd beta as well. This contest will end shortly before the 3rd beta begins.

Edit: Testers have been announced, visit this thread for more information

You may have misread the announcement. Only day 1 lvl 5 must wait for day 2. Any other day once you reach lvl 5 you will be pushed to lvl 30.

If I get re-accepted I'm still not sure if I can stream, because I'm getting a TDR error every time I open a game.

If I can't play myself I'll have a friend stream on JTV and update you a day in advanced.

edit: On a side note characters made that day do not get the benefit of auto lvl for that day.

EX: day 1 lvl 4 then on day 2 lvl up once goes to lvl 30.

EX: day 1 no char. Day 2 make 1st char gets to lvl 5. Have to wait for day 3.

EX: Day 1 lvl 3, day 2 lvl 4, day 3 lvl 5 will auto lvl to 30..

that should cover the types of auto lvl.

You can learn the skills from the class tutor(Note they cost money like on wow) Some skills require previous skills to be at a higher lvl, so pay attention to your skills.

Thanks, I fixed that part up.

So I switched drivers, and removed my 2GB and placed in my slower 1GB ram(total of 2GB now instead of 3) I no longer get the clocking error(TDR), but some games like CSS black screen, while games like SD Gundam online load fine. I hope DBO will do the same as SDGO.

Mmmm, interesting.
I have a question:
Will previous client be valid (maybe with a patch)? Or we'll have to download another one?
Thanks for the info.

Most likely a couple of patches will be auto-downloaded to this client.

But I'm pretty sure that you won't have to download another client.
