Well,i'm lvl 7 and i have a question: There is two equips options(one with more P.Def,and the other with more E.Def) and i dunno which one to use: the monsters that i have killed so far didn't used any skill so i think in this low-level E.Def is useless Am i right? :O

hey i think p def is better to equip because most low levels monsters attack with melee damage , thats what i did and i was ok until higher levels :)

as far as i know, every mob that use any attack from distance is energy based damage.

So since most of lvl 30 mobs are more of ranged, we'll say equipent can go like this:

Lvl 1-30 : More P.Def
Lvl 31+ More E.Def (also usefull for PVP)

Some of the close range classes can either pull you over to them or get to u instantly np.

If you use your scouter and select any mob then press 1 you will see some info generated onscreen.

Under the monster are two bars. The top bar is the monster's attack the bottom his defense. If his attack bar is more red he is Melee oriented, Blue is Energy. I have not run into a monster who is 100% of either so it's good to build a set for both strengths. You can do the same with other players for PvP. I use Soul/Focus/Con M-Defense Set and a Soul/Con/Con or Con/Soul/Soul Set for E-Defense.

Drag equipment to your hotbar and switch it on the fly for what you need.
