I know this may be a long shot, but was just wondering if maybe any of you remembered this quest:



As you can see, there are two areas circled on the world map. The other looks identicle to the one im standing in in the picture. The both feature these large nest structures, with a bunch of black monkeys and one blue one surrounding them.

I have tried scanning, and grinding the monkeys to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

the circle ur not standing in u have to talk to soem girl in the middle of 3 laser eye mobs and for the circle ur in i have no idea, try moving ur mouse over the red circle on the map so u can see what u gotta kill/click on

I have done the quest you mentioned however, already. The one with the girl and the laser orbs. Unless there are two.

EDIT: The other circle looks identicle to this one. Another nest, surrounded by monkeys.

Following your mouse-over advice, both circles list the names of the monkey mobs, but I've killed thousands of these things already lol. I have a feeling it maybe has something to do with the nest itself.

hm try and see if there names are exactly the same and scan them to see fi they are a quest mob if not its probably a super

It should help. I remember that quest, what you have to kill, and that the guide applies to it. It's not a 100% drop though so keep killing what it tells you to do until it drops.

I just completed it, thanks guys. There was no item drop involved, however, unless quest items dont take up a slot (My inventory has been full for ages : P )

I just ran back and forth between the two places killing both types of monkeys. After so many the completion/update thing popped up. I didnt think it was one of those types of quests though, because as you can see in my quest log, the only counter-type quests i have list 0/1, and I killed a bunch of these things.

EDIT: Apparently you DONT have to have an empty slot for quest items (im sure you know this). Im running into a similar situation now. I now see how your guide applies, thank you.
